Boston Sunday

Arrived at the hotel pretty quickly given that they had one manned passport control for our category. All v helpful tho. Cute small airport terminal building and into hotel by 2pm. Off for a walk soon.

Walked over the Charles river dam and through the science museum and passed the Hayden planetarium. Then on through west and north Boston seeing football supporters cheering loudly and passed the Green Dragon pub where the revolution started and had its HQ and to Faneuil Hall and Quincy market. Saw the recreated Cheers Bar - could I find a decent ice cream ... eventually I did and it was huge. Carried along the freedom trail passed all the sites; Boston massacre, old state house (v nice) , first public school, King's chapel, park street chapel , Boston Common and Massachusetts state house. Beacon hill was the loveliest part, with old houses with lots of pumpkins and other Halloween stuff in the porches. Getting dark and over the Longfellow Bridge and back to the hotel and then dinner outside by the river. Oh and did I mention that we visited the Christmas shop and bought a decoration for the tree!!!
Also saw our first Trump sticker.
