Another fantastic day, all blue skies and 75 deg in the afternoon.
Lovely walk up Monument 'Mountain', through the trees, rocks, and great views with peak fall colours.
Found a bakery for 'lunch' coffee tea and a wonderful still hot apple cake, we asked for two slices and they gave us a 1/4 each!
Botanical gardens, small but pretty and v hot.
Naumkeag house fully booked for and decked out for Halloween, wandered around the gardens. On to a huge lake with lovely fall reflections. On the hillside is the concert home and out door venue for the Boston symphony orchestra - Tanglewood.
Long chat with a fisherman who lives in Lenox. Where we were chatting - sometimes bald eagles, none today.
Sat on the veranda as the sun went down with a family celebrating a 70th birthday.
Mandie made her a card later and gave it to her in the restaurant - she was delighted and v touched.
